Can I reset whatever senses the moisture. I live in Northern California. my current humidity is 29%. The average is usually under 20%. No moisture has been near my phone. In fact we are rationing water in the middle of an emergency drought warning Little rain this winter). Levity aside, Is this covered by a warranty. What is my next step. Take it back to Best Buy.

Thanks for replying, frazzm737, My nearest Apple store is over 140 miles away. Maybe I should wait for the problem to worsen as it is very intermittent (approximately once per week). I don't know that I can re-produce the fault on command. Is there a log of this warning that I could show the frequency of the event.
