Hi , is there any difference in functionality between 2020 and 2021 models of magic keyboard for iPad Pro 11 ? I do know that the 2021 12.9 model is slightly bigger to accommodate the thicker iPad Pro.

No, to my knowledge the small difference is applied for iPad Pro 12.9" models, not for 11" models.
