SOLVED "your password cannot include your name phone number or part of your email address" error
Bogus "your password cannot include your name phone number or part of your email address" error
(I'm getting this while running macos* virtually in macos* using virtualOS**.)
It won't let me log in using my main Apple ID.
I'm now trying with a random string created with my password manager.
This is such a PITA, cuz each try, I have to go through many many steps, including phone # verification. This is absurd... Finally realized that the problem was that the "Name" I'd provided was "V M" and "V" was a CHARACTER in the password I had been trying to use.
Still no idea why the OS wouldn't let me log in using my main Apple ID.
