When I try to use Windows Migration Assistant, it tells me I have to quit Windows Mail before I can use it. I'm not running Windows Mail and I attempted everything on this forum to try to resolve this issue. (Clean boot, uninstalling everything, etc.) Nothing seems to work and I still can't transfer my data. Can anyone help?

Be sure you’re using the correct Windows Migration Assistant for the version of macOS you’re migrating to. Your profile says that is Mac OS X El Capitan. Move your data from a Windows PC to a Mac
You may also need to use the Windows equivalent to Force Quit to be sure any processes related to email or mail clients are quit on your Windows 10 machine.
