Safari/Google Maps/location problems

Hi there,

I get this whenever I try to use Google Maps. Even if I check "remember for 1 day" it still asks me. This is a new problem as of the last few weeks, but I can't remember if it coincided with an update. Mac up-to-date, location services on etc., quit Safari, restarted Mac.

Any ideas?

Thank you for your help.

Hello johnreeve,

It is up to the website usually to check the decision made from popups it generates for requesting location access.

You can look into what website you've allowed/denied location in Safari Preferences: Change Websites preferences in Safari on Mac

You can also set those if you want to allow or block location access permanently from here if that's what you want to accomplish.

Cheers.
