How do I turn off iPhone 7 from speaking each character I type? It only started when I got a new iPad (iPad does not speak). I have IOS15.4.1. There are answers here from 2017 and they don't apply.

Siri: Say something like: “Speak screen.” Learn how to ask Siri.

Hear iPhone speak
- Hear selected text: Select the text, then tap Speak.
- Hear the entire screen: Swipe down with two fingers from the top of the screen. Use the controls that appear to pause speaking or adjust the rate.
- Hear typing feedback: Start typing.
