Hello afen56,

If you’re having issues signing in, you may need to revoke you an app-specific password and generate a new one. You can learn how to do that here: Using app-specific passwords - Apple Support

Thanks. Your correct. For people like me who don't even know where to go to generate a new Apple App specific password your link above explains it all.

If you have an old @Cloud.com or @me.com e-mail already set up in Outlook that is not retrieving e-mails do the following:

1) Obtain a new App specific password as explained in the link above.

2) Select copy to copy the password and also write it down somewhere where you can find it at a later time.

3) Go into Outlook and select: File>(select the problem e-mail account)>Account Settings>Account Settings>e-mail tab & select and delete the problem accounts. i.e. and/or @Cloud.com or @me.com.

4) Restart Outlook

5) In your Outlook select File>Add Account and follow the prompts to set up your new @Cloud.com or @me.com, using the new App specific password you generated per the link above.

6) These @Cloud.com or @me.com will re-populate e-mail with all of the data that was in the original accounts.

7) Finally make sure you check the mail account in the iCloud window so as to sync Apple Cloud contacts with your new @Cloud.com or @me.com accounts.
