you are combining audio and video clips outside the primary storyline????

I got this on my iMovie last night and can not get iMovie to do anything now. Has anyone seen this problem before? How do I get it to work again? I'm not sure what to do. I've restarted, reset, deleted and reinstalled, rebooted.... help!

Other posters have received this message although I have never seen it myself:

Can you describe step by step from the beginning what procedures that you used? How did you combine the audio and video clips outside the primary storyline? I have not been able to replicate the issue on my Mac, so I am not able to do any testing.

Take a look at this thread as well and see if anything in there helps you. :
