Download Mojave to install into Parallels as virtual machine

I am running Mojave OS and have installed Parallels. I want Mojave as a vm w/in parallels. so I can update laptop to Catalina. The Parallell instructions don't work. How can I download Mojave from Apple? I have gone to the App store, as suggested, but it says that version is damaged and cannot be installed. Also, all I want to do is download it so I can install in virtual machine. I don't want to (obviously) install it over my current system.

Any help would be appreciated.

Because the App store reports the download as damaged, please try the following:

Navigate to you Applications folder and locate the "Install macOS Mojave" app that (I believe) is already there.

Then empty the trash.

Next, restart your Mac and attempt the download again. Use only the Safari browser for downloading.

Get the Mojave installer here > https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/macos-mojave/id1398502828?mt=12

The download will place the "Install macOS Mojave" app in the Applications folder. Double-click the installer to begin the upgrade process.

Question for the user. User profile is showing MacBook Pro (2020 and later)

Is this computer being used to download Mojave macOS 10.14 ?

If so, am pretty sure this computer is Too New to perform this action.
