Follow the steps outlined here:

If an alert says Face ID has been disabled on your iPhone or iPad Pro - Apple Support

If you are using a screen guard, make sure that it doesn't block the FaceID sensors. Try removing it and see if it works.

If it doesn't work, then you should consider visiting a service centre and analyse for any hardware issues.
