Refurbish MacBook Air, 2015

I have a 2015 13" Macbook Air.It runs good for the most part, and I'd like to keep it that way. With this in mind, would it be worth it to send it in for a factory overhaul?

The only problems with it currently are an expanded battery (which I intend to replace myself), and I’m going to replace the trackpad as well because it was pushed out when the battery expanded, although it is still operational. Rebuild early 2011 13" MacBook Pro? Is it worth the money to rebuild my early 2011 13" MacBook Pro? Its running extremely slow. I know nothing abut rebuilding but was told if I change hard drive and add ram from 4Gb to 8/16gb it would be like new again. Oh and a new battery. Would this be worth it and significantly cheaper?

What is a "factory overhaul"?

If it is working just continue using it. Remove any unnecessary third party apps you have installed.
