Looks like no one’s replied in a while. To start the conversation again, simply ask a new question.

When I restart my MacBook Air it goes right to Macintosh HD installing and after 41 minutes it says it can’t install it….says to restart and it try’s all over again….command option esc not working?

Stuck in a loop….won’t install and I can’t quit the install

Try launching the installer from a safeboot

You can always force quit a shutdown by holding the power button/TouchID for ~6-10 sec.

Force Shut down your Mac.


Log out, sleep, wake, restart or shut down your Mac
