I need to unblock my phone to use a SIM card in another country

I’m currently in Paris and I bough a Sim Card to used it on my husband’s iPhone, however we getting a message that’s states “SIM not supporter because the iPhone is not unlocked by my carrier. I would like to know what can be done. Thank you.

You must contact the carrier the phone is locked to and ask about their unlocking policy. After they approve the unlock follow this guidance→How to unlock your iPhone for use with a different carrier - Apple Support
