I want to get a data only plan from Lucky Mobile, but I am wondering if I can use iMessage with this plan. It says no SMS, But I should be able to use imessage with it because it uses internet right? It is 3G speeds only. Thanks

You can use iMessage, but you will not be able to exchange messages with any non-iPhones. Your other problem is that 3G networks will be gone by the end of the year; some carriers have already shut down their 3G networks.

SMS messages require voice channels.
