Phone freezing

My son iphone 12pro max is freezing and acting weird. He says it taking a long time to send text, some of the app icons are missing but the number for notifications are showing.

Phone freezing My partner and I have freezing issues with our phones. Apps like safari and internet apps as well as certain chat apps just freeze. It fixes when we dim the screen by pressing the power button and turn it back on. A power reset is not needed. We have an iphone 14 and 14 pro. Any thoughts? Appears to be software.

Try the following:

If that didn’t help, then try the following:

▷ Turn iPhone on or off.

▷ Force Restart iPhone.

If that didn’t work, get expert service and support at the Genius Bar.
