Mail Import Mailboxes
I have over 300 "import" mailboxes listed under "On My Mac". I don't understand why so many would be listed.
Is there a way of removing them? I tried to delete a few and was not successful.

I was able to move the contents of one of the "import" mailboxes but not delete the mailbox itself. I then deleted the contents of the temporary mailbox but am unable to delete the temporary mailbox.
Has the issue been solved? No.
OK, While I have a different experience with a different mail box I did not create I would suppose that each import mail box has something in it and the contents can be deleted. My recommendation is to delete or move contents and when empty, control-click the empty import mail box and select delete (or use the mailbox menu). Try that without deleting, but I think they need to be empty. That is my limit of ideas to use and hope it works for you.

They can be deleted from your library/mail/V9 directory.
