Saving online article to PDF

Both with Command P and with File print, I get to the page to indicate I want a PDF. But when I click Save, the indication "Saving" goes on endlessly without doing so.

I am on a MacBook Air 2020, MacOS Monterey.

My browser is Chrome.

Word export-to-pdf problem on Big Sur On Microsoft Word - I can print a file to PDF, but I cannot export it to PDF using 'Save As' options. I need to use the latter option with 'Best for electronic distribution' selected to preserve the URL links. I am running Big Sur 11.2.1 and Word 16.46. pdf pagination problem when importing from safari When I select export as pdf from a web page, the document is distorted and unusable. The shape and size of the document compresses from, what would be a multiple page document of normal height and width, to a tall and skinny document that compresses multiple pages into one or more pages. See screen shot. I cannot find a work-around or find a way to print a document like this. When I open the document after exporting, it looks normal and is readable, but if I try to print it, I get the result described above.

Use safari, File in menu > Print > Save as PDF (Botton left in the panel). The PDF's default location is your desktop.
