Muting and unmuting text messages. I have read here that a muted text alert symbol is identified as a bell with a diagonal line through it. This makes sense; except that when my bell is slashed with a line, I receive text alerts; and when I have no line through the bell; my text alerts then get muted. This has always seemed backwards to me; and even the answers here contradict what my bell symbols actually mean. I’m confused.
