Apple Pay icon in contacts

How do I get rid of the Apple Pay icon that just showed up in all of my contacts?

On iPhone or iPad, open the Settings app, tap Wallet & Apple Pay, then turn off Apple Cash.

Then Restart the device. That's it.

iPhone Second generation SE Just downloaded ios 16. Noticed on my Contacts app a new option appears, showing a Dollar sign, instead of the information icon, when I select the dollar sign it goes to pay someone via Apple Play.
