You can create a table in Numbers (or in Pages), fll the table with the data you want to include in it, then take a screen shot of the table, or 'print' the table as a .pdf document, then insert the resulting image as an attachment to the email message.

But, as picas notes above, you cannot insert an active table into a Mail message.

PS: To take a screen shot of the table:

Display the table on the screen.

Place the pointer at one corner of the table.

Press shift - command - 4.

The pointer will change from an arrow to a cross hair.

Press the mouse button and drag the cross hair to the diagonally opposite corner of the table, creating a selection rectangle that encloses the table.

Release the mouse button.

The image will be saved to your Desktop, with the name "Screen shot" followed by the date and time at which the shot was taken.

To 'print' a pdf image of the table:

In Numbers, press command-P to move to Print Preparation mode.

Check that the table will appear on a single page.

Adjust paper size for a tight fit, if possible.

Press command-P again to open the Print dialogue.

In the Print dialog, click the PDF button at the lower left, and choose either

Open PDF in Preview

OR

Save as PDF.

Drag the image from Preview to your Mail document or Insert the saved PDF file into your Mail document.
