Cursor jumps to bottom, left corner of my MBP's screen | Is there a solution? [Part 2]

This is a follow-up to Cursor jumps to bottom, left corner of my… - Apple Community.

I retried this with macOS 12.4. I had to change Accessibility's Zoom style back to "Picture-in-picture" because the issue only occurs with this specific setting.

With a brief amount of testing, the issue still exists (when Accessibility Zoom style is set to Picture-in-Picture) but occurs less often. The mouse pointer jumps to the bottom, left corner when I open and close the Photos app. When I discovered this issue in macOS 12.1, the mouse pointer jumped to the bottom, left corner every time I viewed high resolutions photos (like those taken in my iPhone.)

I hope this gets completely fixed in another update.

I spoke too soon.

<perplexed>

  • About 1-2 hours ago, I opened a high resolution image in Pixelmator from Photos. The cursor jumped to the bottom, left corner. I opened it multiple times with the same results.
  • A few minutes ago, I opened the same image and the cursor did not jump to the corner. In fact, the cursor did not jump when I opened Photos like it was constantly doing this morning.
