How do I change my calendar’s time to leave notification from walking to driving?

Have you tried changing your default transport method for Apple Maps?

Settings, Maps, Preferred type of travel, Driving

Calendar Time to Leave Alerts Not Working My time to leave alerts are no longer working. I’ve done all of the basic fixes, and can’t figure it out. Location based alerts are on Calendar notifications are on Location access under calendar is set to “while using the app” My default alert time is set to “time to leave” I get calendar notifications if I choose a time-based reminder like “five minutes before event,” but the time to leave events just stopped working one day. Not sure how to get them back. Ideas?

Calendar Time to Leave Notification calculated on Foot not by Car I have my calendar alerts set using the “Time to Leave” alerts but the timing of the notifications are being calculated on foot rather than by car. I cannot see anywhere to change this or why this is happening on my iPhone 12 - it is not doing it on my iPhone 8. Please note this is NOT the add travel time to calendar function - it is the Time to Leave alert. Does anyone have any suggestions please?
