Can't Set Up My New Apple Studio Computer

Well this is embarrassing. I purchased the new Apple Studio computer and an HP monitor E27qG4. I also purchased a new Magic Keyboard, and a MX Anywhere 3 For Mac mouse. I have the keyboard and mouse directly plugged into the Apple Studio using the USB C/Thunderbolt ports. All I get on my screen is an icon showing the mouse, and then the keyboard. No "Welcome" screen to start the process of setting up the computer. (See attachments.) Both the keyboard and the mouse are set to "on". I can't get past this point to try and set up the computer, let alone set up the migration process to move content from my existing iMac to the new computer. I'm at a complete loss as to what to do. The computer and screen are connected using the HDMI ports. Can anyone shed some light on what might be going on? Thanks. Doug

If you have a lightning cable, plug the mouse, keyboard and/or trackpad into the computer to pair them. Also, I would make sure that your keyboard, mouse and/or trackpad is charged and not paired to any other device nearby.

The other idea that comes to my mind is to restart the computer and try again.

I hope this helps!

To setup a new Mac you need either an Apple BT keyboard and Apple BT mouse or trackpad, or real USB wired keyboard and pointing device.

The screens showed keyboard is connected but that neither a mouse or trackpad is connected. The images are pointing out the power switch on the mouse and trackpad.

Is the Logitech MX mouse a real USB mouse?
