Midi inputs stopped working after updating ipadOS to 15.4.1

Very frustrating, was using my ipad pro 12.9" for USB midi input from my Yamaha-ypg625 perfectly to use apps like simplyPiano, synthesia, garageBand and after updating nothing works now. The apps freeze and then crash and no midi is being recognized. I also own an ipad pro 11" and that one is still on OS 14 and the midi works so i know its not my keyboard.

Any way to get them to work again in the current OS? I would really like not having to add any more dongles to my setup if possible.

iPadOS 15.5 was released yesterday. Update to the newest version, then restart your iPad and see if functionality is restored. If it isn't contact Yamaha for help with their product.
