Why are some web pages completely black?

When I go to certain websites, the background is black with text so dark that it is unreadable. It has nothing to do with ‘allow website tinting,’ as that is already turned off on my phone. Apparently it has nothing to do with the phone being in dark mode either. Any help is appreciated.

Hello, Sharo124.

That's definitely not how it's supposed to work if you have Dark Mode disabled. As with all unexpected iPhone behavior, let's try taking the following steps which may help with this: restart your iPhone, make sure it is up to date, close the Safari app (or whatever browser app you are using, if different), then reopen it and make sure all apps are updated.

It may also help to clear Safari's cache: Clear the history and cookies from Safari on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
