Daily request to sign in to my Apple ID

This problem concerns my work laptop. I am not using my apple ID here, because I like to separate my life from work. But once I needed to download an app from App Store, and to do so I logged in using my Apple ID. Unfortunately, ever since then I have had a notification badge on my System Preferences and every day I get a notification to log in. I have tried logging in and once again out. On my personal account pressed to forget this device. I changed the password because I read somewhere that this might help. And still. The badge and the notification are there. What am I doing wrong and how can I fix it. Please help! :(

Hello, StacyEn.

If you downloaded an app using your personal Apple ID, but then logged in with your work Apple ID, you will not be able to update that app while signed into your work Apple ID. We would advise that you either sign in with your personal Apple ID long enough to update the app, or - better solution - delete the app and re-download it while signed in with your work Apple ID. Then, you won't have to sign in and out. This article explains how to manually update your apps: How to manually update apps on your Apple device - Apple Support.

Also, this article explains more about signing in with your Apple ID and what is affected: Sign in with your Apple ID - Apple Support.

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all or if this doesn't settle your issue. Thanks and have a fabulous day!
