I emailed some url shortcut files from windows and I want to view the web pages on my pad. The Gmail app just tells me the attachment it is a windows internet shortcut. The iOS email app will export it, but not to safari. It also lets me copy but it will not paste into safari, nor will it paste into a Google search page

Hey mikefromal,

Sounds like you're emailing yourself a shortcut which isn't compatible with your iPad. Instead, you'd want to simply copy a website URL from the address bar of your web browser and paste it into your email and send that over so that it's compatible and able to be opened.

The shortcut points to a place your iPad cannot see or communicate with, which is why you're running into trouble.

We hope this clears things up for you.

Take care!
