How can I see a password I just typed in

Like this question how do I display password when typing - Apple Community but when I have a lot of trouble typing in special characters in a password and want to review a rather long password.

Every app on the phone seems to be different but I'm trying to log in with my apple id to the store or whatever and it's rather frustrating that strong passwords are hard to enter if I am not a touch typist and rarely use the on-screen keyboard and I have to use a separate keyboard?

Is there an accessibility shortcut I have to enable?

It was helpful to go back there, and check again anyway. But none of the options allow seeing a password or speaking it (not that that would help really.)

I guess this is why apple want to go passwordless soon. I'm hopeing that makes their equipment easier to use, for now I'm going to stay with the non fruit-based phones for the important stuff in my life.

I'm going to assume that "most" Apple mobile device users are young and very good at typing accurately? Any older users who are in the same camp as I with lower than usual dexterity found a way to make this easier?

Let me cut to the real problem. My Ipad asks me to enter my password multiple times in a row every so often, and I'm tempted to throw it out of the window. I don't use the ipad often, and my iphone is not doing this to me, possibly because I use it all of the time, but the ipad sits unused a lot. Why does it have a memory issue?

I don't see any indication that Apple is going passwordless any time in the immediate future. Biometric keys such as TouchID and FaceID, are stored on the device and need a password to access.
