Dot not showing in Dock

I just noticed Chrome is not showing the "running" dot under its icon in the dock. Does anyone else see something like this or know why it may be happening? The screenshot shows my version of macOS, Chrome (which is obviously running), and the chrome icon with no dot in the dock.

Thank you. Command-Tab showed Chrome was running.
Removing Chrome from the dock and then dragging it back on corrected the "dot" issue.

Command Tab will show all running apps— HUD (heads up display)

the Mission Control will show all full screen apps

if this is your Issue your third party Chrome.app —hold the Command Key and drag it off the Dock. From your Applications folder drag Chrome back down to the Dock and compare your results.
