Hello, is the applecare+ covers for the replacement to Magic keyboard from smart keyboard on ipad?

AppleCare+ does not cover substitution of one device type for another. If a device is replaced/substituted, it will be for the same model and specification as the item that it replaces.

Do I need to register my Magic Keyboard with my Ipad’s Applecare+ Coverage? Hi all, I bought an iPad Air 5th Gen and a Magic Keyboard nearly 2 months ago, both brand new and from the same (non Apple)store. I just purchased Applecare+ Coverage for the iPad. I understand that the coverage can extend to 1 apple keyboard and 1 apple pen. My question is if this is automatic, or if I need to register the accessories. If I do, would it be through contacting Apple Support? Cheers, Cass
