Apple Camera Remote App for Apple Watch won’t download

Just upgraded to the Series 7 Apple Watch. After setting up my watch the Camera Remote app for the watch was not there. The app can only be downloaded via the watch itself. When you search for the app and try to download it or open the app nothing happens. Anyone else having this issue? My iPhone is a 12 Pro Max. Contacted support and they had me to send them the diagnostic logs from my phone and watch. I have tried resetting my watch, repairing it with my phone, and cycling it on and off with no luck.
