How can I disable Spotlight on my iMac?

I have an M1 2021 iMac, currently using Big Sur 11.4

Just yesterday, Spotlight has started appearing, whenever I'm typing.

It's doing it now (see screenshots) and it's driving me nuts.

Any suggestions, please?

iMac 24″, 11.4

Take a look at System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Shortcuts -> Spotlight and see what you have there and whether it could be brushed when entering text. If you uncheck, does it stop? Perhaps the default Command + Space may be too close together?? It is possible to choose a combination that is not used for something else.
