That's the cover to U2's Songs of Innocence album. Not sure how it comes up as your wallpaper or maybe screen saver.
Go to System Preferences-> Desktop & Screen Saver, and make sure its not set for either one.
Also check that the Music app is not currently paused on a song from that album.

This has not re-appeared for a while. I don't have a screensaver set and don't have the music app installed as I am deaf. Fingers crossed it has disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared. Thanks for the suggestion
