Trying to change my password on apple and am being asked for a pass code

If you are trying to change your Apple ID password and you have 2 factor authentication enabled you will be prompted for a 2FA passcode. If you see a dialog with the option to Allow it should display a passcode; tap Allow and enter that passcode.
