I want to acquire a compatible version of Garageband for 10.15.7. I've probably not purchased it directly because I bought a used computer and am getting automatic updates. I've lost my previous version through those updates. How do I get it back?
If you have never downloaded it from the App Store, you will need to find it on your backups.
What computer do you have? Can it handle Big Sur?
I'm pretty sure Catalina is as far as I can go. My MAC is a mid 2012 model. I don't have the budget to buy a new computer and I'd like to start making videos. I do have a 2009 MAC mini and I probably have an old version on that one. I just don't understand why Apple doesn't make it available to those of use who don't have unlimited resources but still love their Macs.

But, is Catalina as far as you can go. If your computer can handle Big Sur, it will will let you get the latest Garageband.
