Why is "Roger" no longer capitalized in dictation?

A - There have not been any Mojave Updates outside of Security Updates in a few years.

A - So what " recent dictation " is one referring to ?

A - Is this a Third Party dictation software. If yes, suggest communicating with the Developers of this software.

As interjections the difference between over and roger is that over is in radio communications: end of sentence, ready to receive reply while roger is (radio telecommunications) received ( used in radio communications to acknowledge that a message has been received and understood ).

Subjective or not " I recently installed the most recent dictation " implies and reasonable to conclude that within the past week or so.

So we come back to macOS Mojave 10.14.6 Update released Post Date: Sep 26, 2019. Under that definition of " recent " it would not fall into that category.

Then there is the last Security Update 2021-005 (Mojave) released Post Date: Aug 5, 2021. That too will not fit the category as recent.

Definition of Recent " having happened, begun, or been done not long ago or not long before; belonging to a past period of time comparatively close to the present "

So, based upon that indisputable fact, the assertion that Apple has corrected the spelling of the offending word, are somewhat baseless

Aside - whenever I type or dictate " Roger" , even without the Word correction from previous illustration image, it alway as and does Capitalize the offending word.

I thought I answered one of your questions... as to when it might not be capitalized, not the total answer to your query.

Wouldn't it be needed to be used as a Proper noun to be capitalized?
