Apple Watch 5 fitness ring notification issues

When completing my fitness rings my Apple Watch 5 would notify me that I had completed them by sending a ‘rainbow’ style notification. It no longer does this?

please help.

Check in the watch app on your phone,tap on Notifications and turn off "tap to show full notification".Turning this off will also allow you to read messages and other notifications on your watch without having to tap on them first

sincere thanks for your reply but

sadly, its no different.

I guess the best way I can describe how the notifications for achieving fitness goals used to come was like a ‘Katherine wheel’ effect (firework)?

Now it just sends a ‘Goal achieved’?


I’ve changed nothing in settings so have no idea as to why or if anyone else out there has the same issue?
