EOS Webcam Utility Not Working in Zoom

Hello, I'm having issues with the eos webcam utility specifically in zoom, while it works perfectly in other apps (OBS, & Google Meet), in zoom it just shows a black screen. I haven't been able to find any solutions online that are for macOS and canon hasn't updated the utility for over a year. I've tried all the obvious solutions restarting, quitting zoom, quitting all other apps, all to no avail. Im using a 2020 intel MacBook Pro 13" and a cannon EOS Rebel T6s.
