Auto-Dimming Problem
Auto-dimming still happens even though I turned off all of these in setting:
- Auto-Brightness: OFF
- Reduce White Point: OFF
- Low Power Mode: OFF
- Auto Lock: NEVER
What am I missing?
Using iPad Air (5th Gen) / iOS 15.4.1

Overheating can be the culprit, but we can't diagnose that kind of issue remotely, sorry.
I suggest that you make an appointment (*) and have your device inspected at an Apple Store or AASP (Apple Authorized Service Provider) among this list:--> Apple – Location Selector. After checking it out, they'll give you all the available options.

You are most welcome.
In my experience, the self-protection for overheating starts right from the screen.

Ty. Makes sense. Although I wasn’t sitting directly under the sun, it was a hot day. I suspected that my iPad might be getting too hot, so I let it cool off. Once it cooled down, it seemed to have fixed that issue.
