How to choose multiple emojis on a keyboard as you can with the iPad emoji keyboard?

You are dealing with a computer keyboard mostly made for and relying on a computer operating system which functions differently from the simplified tapping system on an iPad or iPhone. I have not seen or heard of an option to do what you want. I have a somewhat costly hardware keyboard specifically made for an iPad and it does not have a key for emojis (which is fine because I rarely use them).
