Unknown un-invited subscribers on my Photos shared album

I have recently discovered unknown subscribers I did not invite to my Photos shared album, I tried to delete them but I am unable to. One of the addresses is shown as apple@icloud.com! Does anyone else have encountered this issue and can offer a solution?

faiot,

That’s good to hear about removing the unknown information. If you haven’t already, changing your Apple ID password may be a good step as well enabling two-factor authentication, if it isn’t already.

Change your Apple ID password

Two-factor authentication for Apple ID

Should you have additional concerns, there is a link in the following article to connect with Apple Support directly on the situation - If you think your Apple ID has been compromised

Thank you.

Greetings faiot,

Let’s test something, if you’re able. Your profile shows we’re working with a MacBook Air, are you able to test removing any of these addresses from an iOS or iPadOS device? Or, are you able to stop sharing the album all together? How to share albums in Photos on your iPhone, iPad, and Mac

On your Mac, open the Photos app. From the menu bar at the top of the screen, choose Photos > Preferences. Click the iCloud tab, then select Shared Albums.

Thanks.

Thank you AnnieL2,

I looked through all my contacts as I have all of my devices synchronized on the iCloud I thought somehow I could have clicked on something unknowingly to cause invitations to contacts a did not recognize. Whatever the reason, I managed to delete the contacts I did not recognize by opening the shared Photos folder from my iPhone, including a telephone number with the +61 (for Australia) and no name associated with it.

I am still puzzled as to why I could not do it from my MacBook Air although is listed on my Apple ID account devices.

Thank you for your suggestion anyway, have a nice day.
