Access to microphone

I can’t grant access of my microphone to apps such as Snapchat and discord and I have tried what was suggested on another question asked about this to do with screen time settings but it still won’t let me grant access. Any ideas ?

Welcome to the Apple Community.

If the microphone doesn't work in a specific app

Go to Settings > Privacy > Microphone.
Make sure that the app is enabled.
If the app has permission to access your microphone, or if it isn't listed, contact the app developer.
