Receiving Unwarranted Apple ID Codes

Recently, I’ve been receiving a lot of Apple ID codes from the number 81961, but I’m not sure if the number is real or not as I’ve been receiving texts from them since 2019. I’ve already changed my password twice and considering trying to change my Apple ID, but I don’t know what the drawbacks would be.

What should I do, if anything? Thank you.

Someone may be trying to sign your Apple ID, which would generate the request for a verification code. Since you have 2 Factor Authentication enabled, as long as they can't access one of your trusted devices, they can't get a code, and sign in. You should be okay.
