Adding Credit Card Number to Safari DOESN'T WORK

Yup, macOS is slowly getting every bit as dysfunctional as Microsoft Windows. When I enter my credit card number into Safari's auto fill - it just doesn't stick. Meaning, there is no obvious error or glitch. Safari passively accepts my credit card - but after clicking done Safari just can't remember the credit card number.

Before upgrading to Monterey this worked absolutely fine - for 6,7, 8 years - now it's broken. Add this to the list of broken things that once worked flawlessly for many, many years up until Monterey came and broke everything. macOS is now the same as Microsoft Windows. I wish Steve Jobs were still here - it wouldn't have got to this point had he been in charge.
