3 months free when you buy apple tv

after i purchased a new apple tv device i only got 1 week free of apple tv +
why not 3 months?

Please review these possible exceptions:
- The extended trial offer is for buying select new devices from Apple or Apple Authorized Resellers. Equipment from elsewhere does not qualify.
- The offer should be redeemed within the first 90 days. After that time, the offer is no longer available to you.
- The offer is for the first registered user of this new eligible Apple device, regardless of who made the purchase. In case of gifts, the purchaser would not be eligible for the offer, instead the receiver would be. Secondary users (e.g. after a reset) after that first registered user would not be eligible for a new offer.
- The offer should be redeemed on the new eligible Apple device. Not on a different device.
