Problem with Calendar subscription

I have a calendar subscription generated from Office 365 in this format:

https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/<content removed>/calendar.ics

I have successfully subscribed to this calendar in my own iCal with this URL, and so has one of my work colleagues. However when trying to add it to another users iCal (on an iMac running Catalina), I get the following error:

The data downloaded from https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/<content removed>/calendar.ics isn’t valid.

The URL is copy-pasted, so I am sure of no typos. Any idea what the problem could be?

Hi Dustin

I beg to differ, it was a valid url for a calendar subscription which is working on two other macOS systems (and on other non Mac systems).

That is was a Mac Calendar problem was reinforced by the fact that after a couple of full system restarts the same URL miraculously worked.

so problem resolved

thanks
