I recently upgraded to Monterey on a new MacBook Air from an old MacBook Pro w/ Big Sur. Enabling "Sticky keys" effectively does nothing: I have to press keys simultaneously; I can't press a modifier key and the next key in succession. I really miss this accessibility feature! Is there a setting I can adjust? I tried tweaking "slow keys" but that didn't help with the Sticky Key function.
MacBook Air (2020 or later)
Try restarting in Safe Mode and see if sticky keys work in that mode.
Then restart normally and see if they still work.
It is right there in the natural location: System Preferences->Accessibility->Keyboard

"To quickly turn Sticky Keys and Slow Keys on or off using the Accessibility Shortcuts panel, press Option-Command-F5 (or if your Mac or Magic Keyboard has Touch ID, quickly press Touch ID three times)"

The previous reply marked the problem as solved, but it did not answer my actual question. I did not need help finding Sticky Keys. I found them as always and enabled them, but their functionality is useless. If I need to move this question to another topic area, let me know.
Yes as I alluded to, I have enabled Sticky Keys, but they do not perform as before -- there is no difference in the behavior of my modifier keys after Sticky Keys are enabled.
