iPhone 6S plus freezing.

Very recently my iPhone 6S Plus has started freezing.

The screen has been black but I am listening to a podcast on Overcast. I press the Touch ID button at the bottom and the Overcast screen comes up with a second screen transparently overlaid and offset to the right and down about 1 inch each. The words Press home to open are visible but the iPhone does not respond to pressing the touch ID button. The only way out has been to completely reboot the iPhone. This problem has occurred 2 or 3 times in the last week. Never before.

I am still running IOS 15.4.1. I believe the problem has only occurred after the upgrade to 15.4.1 but I am not certain.

I am trying to link to a screenshot of the problem on my iMac desktop but don't know how.
