Other than using the battery faster, you didn't do any damage to your phone.
As I said in my first post, no. Been there, done that. If your charge was at 100% and after your four hours it went down to 89% that is all it did.
No it shouldn’t damage it but you may expect your iPhone heat up more and battery may drain a bit faster. Until u turn it off. So there is nothing wrong with it
