I have been using AppleTV as my streaming service for more than a year using my Aplle Tv box. One fine day, last week, I installed the app on my android tv set and got the picture but not the sound!? Is there something I could do, with your kind help. Thank you

If we understand your post correctly, there is no audio when you play Apple TV content on the Apple TV app from your smart TV. We’d like to help.
Let's try resetting the Apple TV app. Use the steps in the "Reset the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app" section of this article:
Get the Apple TV app or Apple TV+ app on your smart TV, streaming device, or game console

I'm afraid after resetting Appletv app on my android tv, U still did not get any sound from appletv content. The video streaming is perfect but no sound!? The rest of apps e.g. Netflix, YouTube etc all function with sound, but Appletv No sound (silent movie era 😀)
